LED meanings

Green (solid) – Battery good
Yellow (solid) – Battery getting low — charge soon
Red (solid) – Battery very low — charge immediately
Red (fast blink) – Battery critical — stop and charge now

Pairing LEDs

Single light, slow-changing green → yellow – pairing has started, truck detected
Solid green – 5-second hold confirmed
Single light, fast-changing red ↔ yellow – pairing finished

Fueling

Hold the deadman switch to fuel. The LED slow-blinks in one color only (green, yellow, or red) based on battery level.

Release the switch to stop fueling immediately.

Tip: One blinking color = fueling. One light changing colors = pairing.

Pairing a handle to a truck

Pairing only works when the truck has been powered on less than 5 minutes and the handle is held very close to the receiver box (about 1 meter or closer).

1. Make sure the truck is on (less than 5 minutes).
2. Hold the handle close to the receiver box.
3. Tap the deadman 5 or more times rapidly.
4. When the truck responds, the LED slowly fades between green and yellow.

Press and hold the deadman switch for about 5 seconds. The LED turns solid green to show the handle and truck agreed on pairing.

After the solid green light, choose how this handle is stored on the truck:

• 2 quick taps – ADD this handle to the truck
• 5 or more quick taps – REPLACE the oldest stored handle

When pairing is complete, the LED quickly alternates between red and yellow, then returns to normal.

Re-pairing a handle linked to another truck

If the handle is still close to its previous truck, use this override sequence before pairing to a new truck:
1. Tap 5 times rapidly
2. Pause for 1–2 seconds
3. Tap 5 times rapidly again
Then follow the normal pairing steps.

Factory reset

Factory resets should only be done by authorized maintenance personnel.

Exact sequence:
• Tap exactly 5 times rapidly
• Pause for at least 2 seconds
• Tap exactly 5 times rapidly
• Pause for at least 2 seconds
• Tap exactly 5 times rapidly

This clears all stored trucks and returns the handle to factory state.

Handle limits

Each truck can remember up to two handles. If a third handle is paired, the oldest handle is replaced.
